The submachine gun which featured a folding stock and magazine was part of an effort to re-arm and modernize the French military. Chambered in 9x19mm it was tested with a few battalions of Foreign Legion paratroopers. The design lost out to the MAT-49 however.
Imagine if gun owners had to double check the laws of every county they travel through or live in like pit-bull owners do with breed specific legislation.

Gun laws in the US are some of the most restrictive and harshly enforced laws in the country.
I’ve read some ignorant things on tumblr, but this is pretty hilarious in just how backwards it is. I can’t even travel through different towns in my own state without knowing what each of their individual sets of gun control laws are!
